As most people know Kevin Kuranyi was born in Rio and is half Brazilian.

Do you think he would be in starting eleven or on the squad if he chose to play for Brazil???

Hes part Croatian too, and Markovic is pissed he never tried to convince him to play for us

That being said, no i dont think so, although he would probably make the bench.

no. not even the bench. we have a bunch of players better than him.

I would consider him a full brazilian as a football player. It's in Brazil where he learned to play football, and actually portuguese is the language he speaks the best (if you notice, he curses in portuguese).

Anyway I'm sure brazilians aren't sorry for not having him playing for Brazil. If he knew he had a chance, I don't think he would have start playing for Germany. But he doesn't.

Brazil have enough strikers.

Kuranyi was already born with a German citizenship because his father is German and he also speaks German very well, therefore I "tolerate" that he plays for the German NT. But as Ronni said, I think he is more Brazilian than German.

But if all the players that were born in Germany and learned to play football here (= half Turkish national team and many national players from several Balkan nations as well) would be really playing for Germany, our NT would have a deeper overall squad than it has now.

kuranyi is integrated enough to be considered a "real" german. and yes, he sucks too much for the brazilian team and is one of germany's best.

he made a wise choice.

Yes, unlike Altintop and Klasnic.

Klasnic will be playing in the WC. Altintop almost made it. Kuranyi had no other chance if he wanted to participate in any WC (the dream of most football players). In the brazilian NT he would never get a chance, and Panama won't probably qualify in his life time.
