No Doubt eh? Last I heard they were going to hire that "diamond" reject Luxemburgo again, but I guess they wised up since he failed royally last time he was at the helm. It looks like the current trend is to go with younger more modern coaches such as Holland did with MVB and Germany with Klinnsman, Italy and Brazil now with Donadoni and Dunga. Ironically Donadoni was a more offensive minded midfielder, while Dunga was a hardman defensive type. I wonder if Dunga will try to do what Scolari did in 02 and get Brazil playing more defensively with counter, and on the flipside if Donadoni will keep the attacking/defending style that Italy has been playing under Lippi?

Interesting times.

More importantly I want to know when the

CBF IS GOING TO ACCEPT ONE OF OUR INVITATIONS FOR A FRIENDLY???????

Now that Italy is World Champion they can't turn us down again. For those of you that didn't know, the FIGC approached the CBF and requested friendlies with Brazil two times last year, but were turned down on both occasions. First time was just prior to the Confed Cup, and the 2nd was requested for December. If accepted Italy would have played Brazil rather than Holland.

9 years is too long for these teams to not have played each other. I want to see a match sometime soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Or perhaps Fifa and Nike are hoping for another Italy vs Brazil final in 2010? That would be wonderful!!!!
