Hi guys, thought id post this in here and the world soccer thread to south american fans. A fan of Sao Paolo called cedpo thought that we Liverpool fans were being disrespectful to them as we wanted the kids and reserves to play against them in japan and the first team players to stay at home in England to rest. To clear up this misunderstanding its not that we were being arrogant, you see we wanted the kids to play in the game in japan so that the best players could stay in England to rest for the big games in the major competitions the Premiership, FA Cup and of course the biggest trophy of all the Champions League Title. The Intercontintal cup is a 'friendly' competition that no-one in Europe takes seriously. European teams would rather it was scrapped completely, its sepp blatters money spinner. As well as many other European teams in the past, Liverpool pulled out of playing in it in 1977 & 1978 and only played in it in the 1980's for a holiday after arriving on the day of the game, an old Liverpool player Mark Lawrenson laughs when he tells the story of feeling completely hungover during one game after one drink too many on the flight over to japan having arrived on the day of the game

. Liverpool tried to pull out of going to japan for the 3rd time in August last year but we were told that was not an option so we had to play, the lads had jetlag when they got back but thankfully we done brilliantly this season and finished 3rd in the League and won the FA Cup in my 2nd favourite stadium whch we call Anfield South

IC/WCC?

For you, those grapes are sour, Liverpool!..

You do well in avoiding them, like the Devil avoids the Cross!...

However, to your wrath and grief, the IC/WCC has just been aknowledged by FIFA, since its beginnings in the 60's to our days, as an official competition, and that's what counts, not the fact that you Europeans consider it as a "friendly" competition or not: for the world of football data the IC/WCC is an official competition like any other, and you better start "running after", because the numbers are already against you - SouthAmerican clubs are already significantly ahead in terms of world confrontation...

And, more and more, people in the world won't give a damn if you consider it without any value or not...

They wanna see the circus to catch fire (and in that circus you are the old and almost toothless lion & we are the tamer)!...

In NT level, England also diregarded the World Cup 'till 1950 as an official tournament, and now sadly regrets it...

Future generations (even in Europe) will have to confront reality: that SA clubs now have a solid and flagrant superiority over their continent, and that difference - necessary, righteously, and OFFICIALLY dictated by the IC/WCC - is getting BIGGER AND BIGGER (at least as far as football - not necessarily money - is concerned)...
