I think Suazo deserves his own thread now. We will start with this great hattrick...

He scored 1 with his right, 1 with his left, and one with his head. All 3 goals were nice. The 3rd one reminds me of 1 that Zamorano scored during his days at Real Madrid -- I think that it may have even been in that hat-trick he scored against Barcelona.

Anyway, Suazo showed what all the hype has been about. It pisses me off sometimes when people start saying that a player is no good if his 1st season at a club isn't too flash. Some players show their true abilities in their 2nd year at a club, just as Suazo is showing us now. All that hype existed for a reason -- this guy is the real deal. Sometimes I don't know whether it's fair to compare him to Ronaldo, but the comparisons exist for a reason ... both of them are so similar, it's amazing. The way they run, the way they move, the way they turn -- their movement and positioning is especially similar.

Grande, Chupete!

both powerfull, skillfull strikers, id say ronaldo was developed earlier, but thats because he played for massive teams. suazo will be a great if he carries on, he would suit the premiership really well with his strength and off the ball ability. by that i mean hes good at positioning himself well for passes, through balls..

Yeah, he looks sort of stocky sometimes, to me anyway, and he isn't a player that's known to be injury-prone, which is a good thing. Ronaldo definitely developed earlier, and he excelled in his early years too. Suazo is more of a late-developer, since his best football began when he was in his mid 20s, but he has the drive to do well anywhere. He'll probably stay in Mexico though, since his family is already adjusting there.
