USA in 2010

They will play better than 2006. But it would be hard for the US to survive from group stage.

You never know; we might make it past the group stage and maybe to the quarter finals. Beating the African and European champs is not an easy task, but we did it. The problem is U.S is not always consistent.

It really is too early to talk about this since we still have not qualified yet.

Well lets reflect on their current performance and what they've accomplished in the past. I mean they played some tough teams in the World Cup but they just got overwhelmed by all the media attention imo.

No no Argentina will win...Brazil close second and Chile a good 3rd place..

No seriously it will be interesting seen how the U.S does during this World Cup they have proven they can be a very dangerous team they are very ambicious..and they showed that during the Confederations Cup!

The Confederations Cup shows a lot but when it comes down to a World Cup scenario things alter in a heartbeat. Mexico won the Confederations Cup in 1999, then we struggled to qualify to the 2002 World Cup. Things change, don't let the Confederations Cup fool you, teams and players are constantly going through changes, that include attitudes and physical well being. It's fine to speculate before a tournament but it's better to wait until the tournament starts to judge how a team shall perform. But in any case, USA has a great team. Inconsistent at times like every team is but overall a great group of lads.

Yeah I know that thinking they would do great during the World Cup just because they did good in the Confederations Cup is wrong but we kind of saw what the U.S is capable of and the mentality that they have...Mexico won it but alot of people think that them been at home played a huge role! I don't know I disagree to some point but don't want to get into that!
