Has anyone been following the Cup?

The U.S. is the leader of their group, "C".

They have a quarter final match today against Netherlands.

Well Ese, it looks like people wasn't quite following this time the U17 US team.

They looked fine in the first round, specially against Italy, but now that they were sent back home I don't think this place is gonna come to life.

This U17 USMNT had a couple interesting players, the number 10 Arvizu, and the 8 Nakazawa, the rest are nothing exceptional, I found that the 6 Kirk, was kind of overrated.

In a side note, the number 3 Alston was badly injured in today's game, he fractured his legh in the first half of the match when a dutch defender tackle him, it's a shame because it could mean the end of his young career.

Yea I watched the game. I thought the US played well. They were pressuring hard at the end and the Dutch counterattacked to get their 2nd goal. That injury to Alston looked greusome! You could see his leg break.

Unlucky but I'm proud of the boyz. We should make it a habit to win our group in all these competitions. Hopefully next time we can go further.

Any word on how Mexico did against Holland today? I started watching their game, but then I had to go to my highschool game (which we won 3-1 by the way ) and it looked pretty even, but IMO Mexico had the better of the chances (in the first 20 minutes anyways). How'd that game turn out? Yes I could look this up myself but we need more discussion here!
