International Club Friendly Thread

I just thought we should have a thread to talk about the friendlies that the MLS teams have been having with other clubs. I watched the highlights from the Chicago Fire - AC Milan game today and I gotta say, from what I saw the Fire played well. I think something the MLS deffinatly needs to work on is their finishing. The Fire had some easy chances that they could have put away and secured a tie or victory, but lack of quality finishing cost them a 3-1 loss.

I also heard the Columbus Crew beat Fulham FC 2-1, but I haven't seen any thing about the game. Did anyone catch this one or any others that haven't been mentioned?

Also when do Chelsea play DC United? I'd like to know how that game goes!

Yea... crap. I had to work. I tried to get my parents to tape the game, but they ended up taping ESPN instead of ESPN 2... DOH! So yea, but I watched the highlights on www.mlsnet.com: www.mlsnet.com and it looked like a decent game. Duff's goal was pretty sweet! It seems like these MLS teams are performing well against English teams, although I know the English teams aren't bringing full squads and aren't as fit as we are right now because of our awkward season.

United played extremely well. I was suprised that they dominated the first like 20-30 minutes until the first goal but then when duff scored, the english were in command and wouldn't let anything go through. United still attacked though and almost scored but chelsea Mid was to strong. United played well.

Chelsea had there full squad but they only played crespo and lampard in the second half.

United's keeper was a complete moron for doing what he did during Crespo's goal.
