Best Seats?

Hey guys, I might be going to a Chicago Fire game in August, but I don't have tickets yet. I was just wondering where the best place to sit is? I have only been to a pro soccer game once and was wondering where you guys think the best place to sit is? Behind the goal or near the side lines or in the corner? Really close to the field or back a bit so you can see the whole thing? What do you guys think? I'll try to get a pic of the seating charts of the stadium up so you guys can recommend where to sit. I haven't bought tickets yet and your comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I haven't been to that stadium before.

Seating is all a matter of preference. I've sat almost everywhere at the HDC. Sitting somewhere near midfield will render a greater overall view of the field. However, most of the excitement is where the goals are scored. But if you sit there, your run the risk of missing all the action at the other end of the field.

Not that live soccer matches aren't exciting, but the experience is different, depending on where you sit.

You might have to weigh what's important for you.

More excitement / possibly less action - near goals.

More action / not as exciting - sidelines / midfield.

Thanks for the advice. Right now were looking at some tickets in the corner (possibly sectioin 101 on that map I think it is). Would those be any good or would you recomend staying either behind the goals or sidelines?
