Shabab to Play Key Tie Against Sepahan: AFC

JEDDAH, 21 March 2007 — The AFC Champions League action will continue today with Riyadh-based Al-Shabab club host Sepahan of Iran in a second match of Group-D. Shabab had a good start on March 7 when the team defeated Al-Ain of UAE in UAE 2-0 in the group’s first match. Currently Shabab is on top of the group with 3 points ahead of Sepahan, who is in second place on goal differences after winning their first encounter. Sepahan defeated Ittihad of Syria 2-1 in Iran.

Striker Waleed Al-Jizani will in all probability not start for Shabab against the Iranian team as he is nursing an injury.
