Sudden ear pain in summer brief cold

Here we get suddenly drops in temperatures occasionally during summer where it can be lovely at 20 degrees C and then cloud over, pour rain and hail. Temperature falls to 4 degrees C (which is close to freezing).

I rode a home after work...only a 20 min. ride. Dearie was great enough to bring me a fleecy jacket and long rain pants because I didn't cycle with any earlier in morning.

Drizzling rain stopped 5 min. after I started off.

But during the time, my ears suddenly became quite painful. It scared me. It made me wonder if I got rain water in my ears and it wanted to nearly freeze...

I absolutely had to cycle home to get warmer.

Oh how I wish for cold right now! I get ear pain from wind, doesn't matter the temperature.
