So you have a clip you recorded now you want to do something to it. What do you do?
Starting from the most basic there's Windows Movie Maker: explore.live.com/win...-essentials?os=other for all your basic needs.
There's 2 complicated encoding programs for a straight upload:
Handbrake: handbrake.fr/downloads.php and Virtualdub: www.virtualdub.org/ .
Windows Movie Maker can do all your basic editing, Virtualdub can do complex editing/filters/mixing etc, and Handbrake can transcode most filetypes.
There's many other video editing pieces of software ranging from below $100 to over $1000.
What do you have and what works best for you?
One other piece of advise for music is enter the song on youtube and see if other people have used the song before or your audio may be muted. An alternative HD video site is Vimeo and i'm not sure of their restrictions.
