Hey guys on my gfs 2000 f4 I was thinking about going to a 170 rear tire for a bit better turn in but I am not sure the rim is good for it? Any one have first hand experience on this one??

I suggest lower the front and/or raising the rear to improve turn-in.

Going to a larger tire actually slows down turn in but it can be done. The rim will work fine.

F4i´s use 180 rear tire diameter; going to 170 would be a smaller, not larger tire... My guess is it would improve turning smoothness a bit, but giving away traction and, of course, looks.

ya i talked to the guys at RMR and as was worried about the rim is to wide and would flatten out the 170 and actually give a slower turn in. i might try going from a bt021 to a pilot power though as they have a steeper profile
