Hello, I am interested in buying a friends 91VFR but I don't want to change it into a street fighter, and I am having a hard time finding replacment Fairings for it. also it would be fun putting new style fairings on it. so my questions is,

How hard is it to put different fairings on a sport bike?

I know ebay has fairings from hong knog for 94-2008 for a good price but I am not sure of the quality of them. If any one knows how I can get the 91 front fairing set let me know.

Hahaha this is awesome!

But anyways. Trying to fit different fairings on that bike would be difficult because the mounting brackets would be in different places and wouldn't match up. But I suppose anything is possible, the question is can you do the possible?

Here are race fairings

Next bet, Ebay or SuperDave

I would not bother with trying to mount fairings that are not for your bike. This sounds like a huge headache, and it won't look (or work) good at all.

Try to find eBay fairings for the bike - with an older bike, that's probably your best bet. You can also get race fairings (such as the ones Hoffer posted above) and modify those to allow for lights, signals, etc. This would still be a bit of work, but much easier than using fairings from a different bike.

your proably right, I thought I could make modifided mounting brackets, but I have never done it in this form of application before.

But those racing fairings look really promising, are there any other places to get them cheaper? lol.
