Lubing clutch cables - what to use?

Just wondering if I can use WD-40 or the PJ-1 blue chain lube to lube the clutch.

I know these aren't specific products for clutch cable lubing, but I was just wondering if some of these more "general" oils can lube clutch cables well enough so I don't have to spend another $20 on clutch cable lube.

Ah crap, read a bit on the net, seems like PJ-1 is too sticky, and the WD-40 is not much of a lubricant!

Probably getting this kit over the net:

www.jpcycles.com/pro...&Ntk=All&results=100

Unless anyone knows where to get this or some other the cable lube kit (including the lubing tool) for somewhere local or cheaper?

Most local bike shops sell that kit for that price or less I think.
