bought a multi meter, downloaded the manual for my bike. when i put it to the diode setting the meter reads 1.

the manual says the meter should read atleast 1.5 or the tester is bad? anyone eles have that problem? trying to test the regulator and not working out.

It's been so long a can't remember the specifics of the test.

Maybe if you linked the page or cut and pasted the page here, and a pipc or info on your meter, someone might be able to help you better.
