License plate light

Enragez2011-04-04 21:26:42 +0000 #1
I wanna get a fender eliminator for my bike, and I was wondering if it's required by law to have a license plate light for my bike. I know it's mandatory in the states for license plate lights. Not sure about Canada tho.

Thanks in advance!

Yes a light is required and fender eliminators are illegal as well, although I had one and never had an issue, some others have not been so lucky.

It is. I know because I have been ticketed for it. The easiest way is the LED license plate bolts, or a little rumble concepts 45 degree license plate light. Ebay has hundreds of them.

good luck

The fender eliminator is only illegal if it doesn't have a plate light, reside in the stock location and have reflectors.
