JM Marquez vs Likar Ramos

This weekend on

So you take Marquez and put him in a fight, broadcasted on the internet, and risk something horrible happening when you have a fight scheduled with Manny this Fall. I don't get it?

Sure, I'm sure Ramos provides little threat at all, but what if some kind of fluke happened? You threw away a 5 to 10 million dollar payday. It seems very high risk and next to no reward.

WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez (53-5-1, 39 KOs) warmed up for his November showdown with Manny Pacquiao by knocking out Likar Ramos (24-4, 18 KOs) in the first round of a non-title jr welterweight matchup on Saturday night at the Plaza de Toros in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. An explosive right hand to the chin put Ramos on his back out cold. Time was 1:47.

Wasn't much a fight but still what if he had a clash of heads, seemed risky. But it turned out well and I look forward to Marquez/Pacman.

Maybe he fought to get a free vacation in Cancun. It was a very risky move, but maybe he really wanted a warm up fight. What weight is Manny/Marquez going to be at? Risky fight with nothing to gain for Manny IMO. I really wish Mayweather would man up, but what can you do. the guy is a biatch.
