7/23/11: Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah on HBO

I'm pretty excited about this fight as Amir Khan is a future superstar and I really dislike Zab Judah but he could still be tough for Khan

Khan is still very young and has been training with Freddie Roach and sparring with Pacman for a good two years. I've been a big fan ever since he put up a great fight against Maidana.

I'll take Khan by UD.

Thoughts?

Tough fight for Khan who tends to get macho and is easily drawn into brawls.

There is so much hate for Khan in England which is a shame. I hate to say this but if he was white I don't think he would have gone to the States as much of the hate he gets be summarised by the phrase " he is arrogant paki with a glass jaw". I really hope he is a success in the USA.

Khan does not have a glass jaw as he took shots from Maidana who is probably the biggest puncher in the division. The guy went into a fight overconfident and got caught....it happens. This happened to Lennox, who went into the fight with McCall who was a murderous puncher overconfident and was caught, people doubted his chin for his whole career even though he he took on and took shots from some big punchers like Tyson, Tua, Vitali, Briggs, dudes that can really hit.

I expect this to be a terrific fight.

I am very excited for this fight and am looking for Judah to take the upset. I know all signs point to Khan being the faster, more skilled fighter on the rise while Judah has lost every one of his "major" fights... But I dont know. Maybe its the New Yorker in me, but I just feel like Judah is going to shock the world tonight.

Size difference between these two appears massive.Khan has his trunks way to high,Im suprised Zabs corner isnt complaining.Clash of heads as both guys try to mix it up with 30 seconds left.Round to khan

rd2-Khan was the much more active fighter in rd1 throwing 30 more punches than Zab.Judah squinting still out of his left eye from the headbutt. He is trying to counter Amir as amir circles and sticks and moves.Zab bleeding from the nose and mouth.
