Rides for Spinal Cord Injuries?

Hi ladies, I'm new to the Charity Ride world but I've just signed on for the N.C. Tour de Cure for Diabetes in April/May. It appears to be very well supported and organized. I'll let you know. How does one go about looking for a Charity ride for a specific cause? I have a family member with a spinal cord injury and it would be very meaningful for me to be able to help raise money for spinal cord research. I've checked a few websites (Chris Reeve foundation, Miami Project) bur have yet to find any organized ride or team. Does anyone have any resources to connect riders with "causes" or charities?
