just a question seem as though so many teams are wanting to buy him...

i've heard Juventus are offering Trezeguet and sum player called Zapata for him....we've rejected it i think...

Would you gooners like to see him play sexy football with Arsenal?

I don't know if anyone has done it yet but I will try to give an objective overview of this player because he plays at my second favourite club namely Galatasaray and I hope he will join my favourite team

After being discovered by Fatih Terims' scouting unit, he grew up in the youth ranks of Galatasaray. in the season of 2005/2006 he went on a loaning spell to Manisaspor where they started him as a full back. He grew enormously and went back to Galatasaray. in the 2006-2007 he became crowd favourite after a few succesful performances. After this he kept growing till he played Bordeaux and headbumped a player of them and was sent off. After this his performance dropped and it kept dropping, I too thought that he was finished and just another kid with his 15 minutes of fame. but in the second half of the 2007-2008 performances he once again started to play well, this time he was more slow but a definite team player with immense fighting spirit and great dribbling skills. He himself with Hakan Sukur made Galatasaray champions of the Turkcell Super Lig last year.

His new improving line didn't go unnoticed by once again Fatih Terim (but this time as Turkey Coach) and he was selected for the Turkish side to play at Euro 2008. He first

started on the bench but a injury of Emre B. got him a starting role against Switzerland where he scored the winning goal and after that he scored once again against Czech Republic. he is still of great importance for the Turkish side.

the Arda Turan I described till now is not enough for Arsenal as he lacks: condition because he gets tired very fast, does not come back to help the defence and lacks professionalism

the Arda Turan of 2008-2009

he is now playing a great season for Galatasaray where he takes on different roles as he scores and gives assists on a regular base now. he now has more defensive skills and returns to help his defense. In the first leg against Spain in the qualification game he was outplayed by Sergio Ramos, this gave me the impression that he still wasn't worth Arsenal but in the second leg not only did he lock up Ramos in the Spain defence he more than once opened scoring posibilities and gave the cross which Turkey scored a goal out of.

As a conclusion I think Arda is ready but ripening a little bit more would be good for him and after that I hope he gets a chance to prove himself

regards a loyal gunner

The longer he stays at GS the faster he will rot, Arda imo would suit La Liga more than Epl.

Arda is good, i wouldnt mind having him in my team, but i think our midfield is ok, we have Cesc, Nasri, Arshavin, Walcott, Rosicky, Diaby, Denilson, Ramsey, Wilshere, Song, Eboue..

Arda would suit our style though, i think it may take a season to muscle up and adjust to the Premier League but Wenger has done that well with a few of our players.

If that little punk Ramsey can play in EPL, then Arda sure can.
