Toffees to Lodge Complaint

Everton have confirmed they will submit a formal complaint to The Football Association following criticism of Andrew Johnson by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho questioned Johnson's integrity during Chelsea's win over Everton on Sunday, with the Portuguese coach suggesting the forward dived during the first half at Goodison Park.

The comments prompted a swift response from Everton chief David Moyes and Johnson said on Monday he was disappointed by Mourinho's statement.

Everton stated they wanted The FA to look into Mourinho's comments and they have now confirmed a formal complaint will be submitted to Soho Square.

Toffees spokesman Ian Ross said: "We will now make a formal complaint to The FA over Jose Mourinho's remarks regarding Andrew Johnson."

To be honest Jose has some nerve accusing other teams players of diving when he has two of the worst divers in the League in Drogba and Robben

Oh man Robben is the biggest drama queen out there, Drogba is nowhere near as bad to be fair to him.

Jose is feeling the pressure now because he knows that week by week Man Utd get closer and closer to a championship, which is something all Chelsea fans expect HIM to achieve.

You heard it here first, A senior moderator swearing.

Robben is a bitch.

i would say christiano ronaldo is twice the diver that robben is. and i looked at the replay and there was barely any contact. johnson didnt think twice after he felt the hand of boulahrouz and fell in a dramatic way. i wouldnt call it a total dive but i think johnson knew what he was doing.

Robben is five times the diver Ronaldo is and I'm not saying Ronaldo doesn't dive. I wasn't defending Man U but defending Everton. I've also seen the replay and there IS contact but that isn't the point. The point is Mourinho has a nerve accusing OTHER teams of diving when he has some of the worst cheaters in the Premiership! If he's so angered by diving why doesn't he criticise his own players?

Johnson was off balance from the nudge boulahrouz gave him and jumped to avoid colliding with the keeper. Would Mourinho preferred if he had made contact with Hilario?

Remember Mourinho's disgraceful comments about Stephen Hunt when he accidently collided with Petr Cech?

Mourinho just takes any opportunity to be desrespectful about an opponent.

At least Everton are going to do something about it.

This isn't about being pro -everton or ant-chelsea, its about being anti-asshole, which is what Mourinho is.
