Wigan were unlucky, they just couldn't finish their chances.

Great goal by Crespo.

For all his pre season big talk, Mourinho's much hyped side just failed to perform. Crespo's goal saved his face. He should learn to be a bit more modest, and do the talking on the field and after the victory. Lampard was invisible in the game yesterday. He is not the same Lampard before the season break.

But I predict 0-0 in Arsenal Chelsea next week, as they too are having bad form, and didnt play very good against Newcastle FC.

Guys, I would obviously blame Chelsea for the bad game they had, but you have to give Wigan the credit for their hard work, the Wigan defenders where everywhere and the crosses and passes were intercepted when they came close to goal, Wigan was dangerous on the counter attacks but couldn't finish and were unlucky because if you saw the game like I did, they hit the cross bar and missed perfect oprotunities.

I think the reason Wigan lost was not only because of Crepos late goal, but because they have new talented signings like Henri Camara etc.. who are amazingly talented and fast players BUT don't have the chemistry that fluent yet, and hen they do get it fluent, I wouldn't be surprised if they beat any team in the EPL including ManUtd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.... Wigan is obviously a new force in the EPL after what they showed in that game, but I think they need more time to getm their team together.

The real winner of that game was Wigan, but Chelsea should have done alot better than rely on Crespo.

I don't think Chelsea played poorly...I DO think that Wigan just played better.
