Mourinho relieved as Chelsea win

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho praised his players for breaking down Everton's defensive barrier at Stamford Bridge.

He said after the 1-0 win: "It was a special game against special opponents. They are the tallest, strongest team I have seen in England.

"They were very physical with a great, tough, aggressive attitude, but we had the spirit to fight for three points

"I think my squad has everything and our attitude is fantastic. We defend well and create chances."

Mourinho delivered thinly-veiled criticism of Chelsea's support, insisting they need to back his title-chasing players more.

He said: "2,500 Everton supporters supported their team more than 35 or 36,000 Chelsea supporters. I feel our fans can give us a bit more."

Arjen Robben crowned a brilliant performance with a second-half winner, and Mourinho said: "He is a special player.

"And we haven't seen Mourinho and Didier Drogba together yet. Drogba is another special player."
