Dirk Kuyt - Better as a striker or as an attacking midfielder?

Dirk has scored a couple of goals for Liverpool but I think that it is better for him as an attacking midfielder than as a striker. What do you think?

Are you MAD????

He scored 24 league goals for Feyenoord last season.

He's been missing...but not by much.

Just taking time to adjust and he IS scoring....which is more than you can say for Salomon Kalou

I think he is better as a striker as that is his preferred positon.

Ballsmith..........his first 4 or so Liverpool goals were easy. The other Liverpool players had done the hard work for him and all he had to do was just to score. He looks better as an attacking midfielder. His crossings are fantastic and he could pass and dribble well in midfield.

.....you don't know what your talking about!!.......... he is a tremendous goalscorer..... he needs to stay in a position where he can use his natural ability to find the back of the net... obviously the striker position.

Under normal circumstances, I don't normally like to pick a post apart in this way, but each sentence is invalid so you leave no choice...

This is to Liverpool's credit...much as it pains me to say it...their approach play has been better than average this season...don't blame Kuyt.

That...is a striker's job...no?

So he can cross and dribble...he needs to, he's an attacking player. He can tackle as well...does that mean he should play at centre back??

Look....don't make me enthuse about the scouse scum any more.

Kuyt is doing OK.

He has a proven track record in front of goal. Don't punish him for scoring tap-ins, that is what he's there for. It means he is in the right place at the right time. True striker's instinct.
