According to Turkish media, Fiorentina are preparing an offer for Fenerbahce striker Semih Senturk. After a stellar three goal performance in Euro 2008, Senturk greatly increased his transfer market value with many European clubs adding his name to their transfer lists. Fenerbahce are not keen on losing their last minute hero, however, the player has expressed his desire to play in Italy. Fiorentina are reportedly going to offer Semih a three year 6.3 million euros deal with a 5 million euros transfer fee going to Fenerbahce. Reports also state that Villareal, Stuttgart, Werder Bremen and West Ham are also interested in Senturk.

Following a temporary lull in proceedings when it appeared that Mutu was set to sign a new contract at Fiorentina, the Italian press has resumed its almost constant reports on Roma’s pursuit of the Romanian star.

Earlier today Mutu’s international team-mate Christian Chivu revealed that his friend was contemplating a move to the Eternal City.

“He is very tempted by Roma,” Chivu told Il Messaggero.

“He has been asking me about things and he would be a superb signing for a squad that are already very strong contenders.”

Now Il Romanista and Rete Sport have further fuelled the rumours of a possible transfer with details of an exchange between Mutu and a group of Roma supporters.

The 29-year-old is said to have made a stopover at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport while on a flight back to Florence. While there a section of Roma fans asked Mutu if he would be joining there club, to which the striker replied, “I don’t know.”

This reply has led the Italian press to believe that there is a distinct possibility that the former Chelsea man could indeed end up at the Stadio Olimpico next season.

Fiorentina are about to carry out the last negotiation of an almost perfect transfer market; Sports Director Pantaleo Corvino seems in fact determinated to engage Sao Paulo defender Alex Da Silva; after tracking his teammate Miranda, the tuscan club's trainer Cesare Prandelli seems convinced about the former Rennes player. Da Silva would perhaps cost less than Miranda, valued at least 10 million euros by the brazilian club.

Sao Paulo have fixed the price for defender Miranda, tracked by Fiorentina: 15 million euros; too much for the tuscan club that will continue to seek an alternative on the foreign market.

Fiorentina trainer Cesare Prandelli doesn't seem to have taken too seriously the rumours about West Ham's offer for 23 year old midfielder Riccardo Montolivo: "10 million euros for Montolivo? It doesn't seem to me a great offer, I am sure that Riccardo will play a great season. He has just come back from the Olympics but he is already showing the right mentality"
