Who are the future stars of the azzurri?

De Rossi?

Bovo?

Gila?

Who? And who do you expect to be leading the way in 06?

We can say alot about the young Azzurri players. With Gilardino, Esposito, Potenza and others has shown they can play in the NT it is apparant that Italy has nothing to lose in winning any major trophies including the WC. But the team will still be lead by the current players like Cannavaro, Zambrotta and Nesta which give the team a more compact and solid nature.

FORZA AZZURRI!

Gilardino rocks!

There are also De Rossi, Cassano, Toni and Chiellini.

Italy boss Marcello Lippi says he would consider taking charge of Serie C side Napoli once his Azzurri stint ends.

"I’ve always said that it would be difficult to join one of the big other Serie A teams after spending 10 years at Juventus," he told napolimagazine.com.

"I already tried it once (at Inter) and I realised just how hard it was.

"But I could think about taking charge of smaller side or a club who are on the up, such as Sampdoria, Palermo or Napoli."

The latter are currently in Italy’s Third Division but Lippi has left the door open for a return to the club, after taking charge of the San Paolo outfit during the 1993-94 season.

"I still have the intention to Coach after my spell with La Nazionale and it would be an honour to take over at Napoli if that opportunity arose," he continued.

"However, I do want to underline that they already have a good Coach in Edy Reja and I hope he leads them back to Serie A as soon as possible."

Napoli had to begin a new life in the summer after the bankruptcy of the old outfit.

Yet they could be back in Serie B next season as they have qualified for the promotion play-offs.

They will face Sambenedettese in a two-legged encounter, while Reggiana take on Avellino in the other semi-final.

If Lucarelli has another season like this one, he should be shoe in for selection. Maybe not to start, but on the team. Add Esposito and Iaquinta to the list as well, and possibly Bonera.

Haha.

Sorry bro.

Nah, I'm hoping to see Gila get more starts and for a lot of the Parma stars to make a few impressions. Bonera woould be making more waves if he had more chances, imo.
