Palermo vs Juventus?????? am i missing something???

i remember the old days between Reggina and Messina. those were some good times and i look forward to being present for another historical moment between eachother.

but i think the Siciliano duo of Palermo/Messina will also be a special event.

as for Siena / Fiorentina, i dont think that will have much hype involved.

Well the 2 teams played a few matches back in the day and a few in the past several years but one of the main reason is the North vs. South battle. I hate the Northerner's especially Juventus because they keep bragging about thier accomplishments and saying la sud doesen't know how to play calcio!!! This year is going to be a very interesting season to watch.

well your right about one thing. Palermo will want to make right what Juve did wrong to the people of Palermo. Toto Schilacci, Palermo's favourite son deserved to be treated better by the Juve and Italian public, no one wanted to give him much playing time despite his obvious talent. and why? because he was Siciliano!!!

hopfully this year will be the year of the south! it'll be good to have have Fiorentina, Siena, Livorno and Atalanta religated at the end of the season and replaced with Catanzaro, Crotone, Catania and Napoli so they can play alongside the other southern foursome of Reggina, Palermo, Messina and Lecce.

In a country where we are the outsiders, it'll be good to see the facsist north fall!

and to anyone who is from the north! if you dare vote for Berlusconi's Forza Italia party in the next election, then you are truely an evil person! because i know your not stupid! how could anyone believe Berlusconi is anything less then a weak and self absorbant try-hard anti-Christ! SHAME ON YOU!

I'm glad you know about the Toto Schilacci incident. I am not puposefully trying to hate the North i'm just giving back the hate they gave us. I also love your idea about the South teams. I would love to see Cantazaro Calabria's pride and joy and reggina's cousin, (Crotone i'm not to familar with but if it's from the south i'll root for them), Catania another Sicilian team with a Sicilian playing style who almost made it to Seria A this year (hopefully next seasonthey can do it) and last but not least Napoli. I'm also half Napolitano and would love to see them back in the top. After maradona left the team hasen't been the same.

I'm just tired of the north winning the scudettos and having thier glory hunting fans cheering that they are the the best etc..

lets face it though, the only reason why the north constantly win is because they have the money!

Berlusconi and his friends cringed the day that Napoli won their first Scudetto of that magical era, and they have been screwing us ever since.

when Reggina were religated to Serie B a couple of year back, it was an underhanded sly attempt to kill off the south.

Hellas Verona paid Parma to throw a match in which saw Reggina drop into the religation zone.

and this isnt the first time that its happened to anyone. a sickening thought indeed.

Crotone are another Calabrese team. I dream of a southern Serie A. made up of Reggina, Catanzaro, Crotone, Messina, Palermo, Catania, Napoli, Salernitana, Lecce, Bari, Avellino and Cosenza. that day will be a good day.
