Is Inter becoming Lyon? The only dominant force for a decade? ;)

I love thinking this way, but honestly speaking it's pity not to have Milan and Juventus around... They are not even close to Inter's class at the moment and it does not seem that anything will change in near future. Roma okay, we got beaten today, but seriously Roma is not at all any great team compared to Milan and Juve. Even if they get a Scudetto this year, which I hope is not going to happen, they are by far not a kind to kind team compared to Inter.

Anyways, italian league is really weak without Milan and Juventus and this unhealthy situation will bounce back on Inter too... From being uncofident Inter is now extremely confident and I think was quite compacent during this season... although resilient...

how? any ideas to support this statement?

I say no changes will happen as all these past years Milan did not try hard enough to do anything, Juventus huffs and puffs and hires worst managers, who do not fit in there systems...

Inter is going balls out to do something in the CL, but in the league...how can you say they've been the dominant force in a decade?

That said, I truly believe all the Serie A teams are getting their "affairs" in order, so as to meet the Fair Play initiative that will be in place in 2 years. In other words, none are willing to operate in the red (ie; Debt), so they are creating the requisite conditions now to be prepared to be competitive then. Teams that are in debt are going to struggle if they wait for the 2011/12 season, but teams that are preparing ahead of time will not.

For that reason, I think Berlusconi is not pumping a lot of money into the team.

Juve has bad directors that have made bad decisions.

But on a strict operating budget both Roma and Milan are within a few points of Inter. So that tells you something.

I said for a decade, which means 5 years now and another 5 years coming, big difference mate if you put ''in'' instead )))

yes, they are within points but the quality of their game is quite low and besides Inter was cruising in most championships post calciopoli, and we are in season 5, I would not be suprised if current situation with all those red cards and touchline bans was inflicted in order to bring some interest to the league and not let Inter to run away with another scudetto having got plus 15-20 points against others...

LOL, OK...I see...you expect Inter to dominate for another 5 years.

And mate, it's only been three years if you don't count the 2006 season gift

But why project into the future, this season is not over yet mate?

On the flipside, I wonder if Inter would still be in the lead if you count all the cards that have gone in their favor. Let's be honest here, you've had a lot of favors mate, but are turning a blind eye to them too. It's a Mouinho tactic that you fans have seemingly adopted too
