Learn Some Respect, Mourinho, We're Not In England - Beretta

Gunner2010-05-04 20:57:33 +0000 #1
Lecce coach Mario Beretta believes Inter tactician Jose Mourinho needs to buck up his ideas and show more respect towards teams and other managers. The Giallorossi boss has told the Portuguese boss that things are different in Italy and reminded him that he is no longer in England...

The 'Special One' has got everyone talking without even saying a word as he has left his media duties to his assistant coach, Giuseppe Baresi.

Beretta is not happy with the way Mourinho decided not to give an interview after the Lecce game and he believes it was a blatant lack of respect towards him, his players and the fans.

"Mourinho never says anything banal and it would have been interesting to see his views on the game," said Beretta.

"I think he needs to show more respect towards journalists, fans and Lecce.

"He used to do what he wanted in England but here we are in Italy and it doesn't work like that.

"I give certain resposibilities to my staff, but some institutional roles are down to me."

The former Chelsea coach has decided not to take part in pre and post match press conferences because it is believed he doesn't like the Italian media.

You can only gain mourinho's respect is to beat him on the field. Italians... WAKE UP.. stop killing the entertainment. play your game and play better. you don't lose your game and come back saying the winning team's coach had not respect you. loser!

Mourinho is already getting frustrated with life at Inter. He knows that his side have a chance of winning SerieA, but deep down he knows that is a small achievement compared to winning the EPL. This is how he knows that Inter cannot possibly win the CL and will probably waiting another 43 years until they do. The strength of the English sides is just too much!

Expect to see Mourinho giving more verbal outbursts to the press and getting more frustrated before finally resigning. He knows his future lies at a top side in the EPL.

So that's the reason why since 2000 Spain have won it 3 times and England twice?? RESPECT. Fair enough I never underestimated Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal but when you look at Serie A you've also got the likes of Milan and Inter followed by Juve, Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Villarreal and Valencia in La Liga!

Oh and once again since 2000, it's 3 vs 1 for Spain over the English in UEFA Cup. Even Russia have more than the English, CSKA in 04/05 and Zenit 07/08.

I agree La Liga and Serie A still have very good teams, the 3 are the big league and for a reason. EPL is probably a cut above the rest but not by a long mile, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Villareal, Fiorentina, they are still top class sides just like Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea.

The one thing i will say though, No english team was beaten by foreign oposition in the last CL. No other country has done that were it was quite so dominant. And it was an all english final and it was a great CL campaign.

I agree with you as well. English teams did dominate the UCL last season but I am Legends comment (The strength of the English sides is just too much!) was abit stupid, so I guess he's judging European football from only last season onwards.. Well let's continue counting, didnt Arsenal tie with Dynamo Kiev 1-1 with a last minute equaliser last week(?). Once again didnt that team lose all their games 2 seasons ago in UCL(?)..

I expect all four English teams to dominate this season as well, but never know which nations side will win it.

Kanarya, respect has to be earned. How can other clubs respect a side that has NOT won the CL for 43 years? C'mon man count back how many times English clubs have won the CL during this time...You will find it is a very lot!

Anyhow this thread is about Mourinho not Inter...Mourinho is bored with life in SerieA. The EPL appeals more to him cos quite simply it is a better league.
