The Italian press has gone into transfer overdrive over the past few days, ever since Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying that he would like to one day play in Spain or England.

Real Madrid, who have been long-term admirers of the Swede, have been strongly linked with a move, and yesterday coach Bernd Schuster admitted his interest in the player.

"Ibra? He's a great player and I would like him here,” said the German tactician.

"All the major players are welcome and are possible targets for Real Madrid. Ibrahimovic is one I would like to have."

This morning the Corriere is reporting that Madrid have offered Inter €50m plus Mahamadou Diarra for Ibrahimovic.

Inter are believed to have already been involved in negotiations for Diarra for a number of months now.

The Nerrazuuri have identified a centre midfielder as one of their main summer transfer objectives, and Diarra is almost certain to leave the Bernabeu having fallen out of favour with Schuster.

The chances of Ibrahimovic ending up in Spain are said to be good, and Inter may be tempted to accept given the fact the striker has been suffering from a chronic knee injury for much of 2008.

50 million?

Thats ridiculous

I doubt this is true. But that's a pretty impressive offer. I bet Inter could even negotiate it upwards from there if that's where the bidding is starting . I'd definitely consider it. Ibra's production (penalty kicks aside) has taken a nose dive this year and his knee might be messed up. And Real are (allegedly) willing to offer that!?

I'm a skeptic, but it's something to keep an eye on. It's better to hold onto the player of course, but if the offer is going to be that crazy...

You're probably not. Just the media having more fun, or so I'm assuming.

For example, Mancini is saying his words were twisted by the press when he was asked about Hleb and other players.

Ibrahimovic worths all that????That is obviously a media hyperbolic vision of reality ...

Ibrahimovic can jump from team to team,it's natural for him...
