Non Inter summer 2007 transfers & rumours

I am very excited about this summer transfer window as you guys know. And we already had or having some fantastic transfer excitements like Suazo transfer saga, Chivu transfer saga, Henry's suddent move to Barca, Klose to Bayern & etc.

So this thread is to share opinion on general movements around us and if they can have an impact on Inter's ambitions in Seria A or CL... So basically, about transfers of top players & top teams! Shall be interesting to see your opinion.

So to start with:

Barca is looking for Abidal and Chivu to stregthen their defense, given these signings they can really push in CL...

Milan is looking for striker and I am afraid Tevez will be an option for them... He may become as influential as Kaka in Milan, this will mean strong Scudetto contention, although I still believe Milan will have to invest in defense and even into their aging midfield in order to contend for Scudetto this season.

and our prodigy Martins may join Arsenal...

Regarding Barca, looks like they may have pulled out of the race for Chivu after picking up Abidal? They also signed Yaya Toure, defensive midfielder from Monaco.

Fiorentina have picked up several promising, young players. They also expect Pazzini to step right in for Toni. I'd watch out for the Viola, they could be dangerous.

Anyone following Juve's moves? Almiron, Tiago, Iaquinta, Grygera, Nocerino, Salihamidzic. I guess they also like Barzagli and Gilardino. Trezuguet re-signed. Raineri appointed manager. With so many moves, it's kind of difficult to imagine how they'll line up.

Milan will sign a big name striker no matter what. You may be right about Tevez, but they'll probably try for Eto'o first. They've also been saying nice things about Cassano. Oh and the Ronaldinho rumors just won't go away.

And we gotta mention Man Utd if we're discussing non-Inter transfers. Snapping up those teenagers Anderson and Nani was quite the coup, especially with Ferguson's proven track record for developing young talent. It's the sort of signings you never see Inter make these days. Since Mancini arrived, I can't remember any players we've signed that weren't at least 25 years old or nearly so. Hmm, maybe Burdisso was only 23 and Cambiasso 24, but still...those were 3 years ago and might've even been arranged before Mancini officially took over at Inter.

Who is this Yaya Toure? Barcelona paid a decent sum of money to get him. I've heard he's the brother of Arsenal's defender (Kolo Toure) but that doesn't explain anything

Juventus won't be a pushover next season. Especially getting Trezeguet to resign surprised me and they still have the best goalkeeper in the world. Iaquinta is an effective goal poacher (even if I don't like his appearance - I'm kind of pleased he went to Juve) and while their midfield isn't the most creative in the world it looks tough to break down defensively.

...I dont think Milan lkes Tevez. They are after Brazilians and i doubt that he'll be their target,as for Martins joining Arsenal, that shouldnt worry you,he is everything but not Henry ..

hmmm Milan wants Adriano now... given Berslusconi has a good control of the media we need to check whether all photos of Adri partying were presented by Mediaset channels

with Juventus I personally do not rate Ranieri high and I hope he will flop just like he did with Chelsea or Valencia before...

Ilcapitano - there are rumours about Lampard joining Juventus, he's not supercreative but is quite effective up front. This could sort Juventus midfield issues to some extend.

I can't see Lampard leaving Chelsea for a club that doesn't even play in CL...Anyway, buying him would be too expensive after all other transfers this season.
