Italians go Inter battle for Henry

dexboii2010-05-04 22:14:25 +0000 #1
INTER MILAN have put Thierry Henry on their summer hit-list of transfer targets as the big-spending Italians believe they can lure the Arsenal captain to Serie A.

Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is also wanted by Inter, but Henry is their priority even though the French striker only signed a new deal last summer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has a ruthless reputation for selling top players if he feels they are past their best and Inter want to see if his star man is now available.

Henry, 29, is out injured for the rest of the season, and his form has dipped since he returned from last year's World Cup Finals.

But he insists he wants to stay at the Emirates despite his current problems. "I hope that our (mine and Wenger) destinies remain the same," said Henry.

Not a chance! He'll be an Arsenal player for life! If he wasn't lured by Barcelona Inter don't have a chance!
