Inter book Sven to replace Mancio

Sven Goran Eriksson was Roberto Mancini’s mentor, but it’s now reported he could replace him on the Inter bench.

It’s no secret that Mancio has delayed contract renegotiations with the club, strong from his position of leading Serie A with a record-breaking 16 consecutive victories and a 14-point advantage.

However, the 2-2 draw with Valencia on Wednesday has put their Champions League progress in doubt and raised further questions over the future of the club.

The ‘Corriere dello Sport’ newspaper today claims that President Massimo Moratti is tired of waiting for Mancini to begin talks, so he has booked an alternative – Eriksson.

With the former England, Sampdoria and Lazio boss currently out of work, Moratti’s verbal agreement puts Inter in pole position should they require a change of management.

Linked with Real Madrid and Olympique Marseille, the Swede has now overtaken Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho as the prime alternative to Mancini.

It would be a bitter blow for the Inter boss, who followed Eriksson from Sampdoria to Lazio and acted as his assistant manager with the Biancocelesti.

...if this imbecil arrives in Inter i will puke...this is the biggest idiot that Moratti can think of...

...I dont listen to the english...i just watched his powerfull squad of brilliant ass kickers and extra calss players perform like bunch of junkyes...when he couldnt convince with England i dont see what's the big deal in him...changing Mancini at this point will be a huge mistake...we all wanted for him to leave but it seems that he has found the winning formula although if he get's ass kicked in the C.league it could be quite risky for him...the team is perfect but his new found tactiucs 4-3-3 are working flawlesly... ...whatever happens NO ERICSSON.... ...

I hate Eriksson's football with a passion and also the fact that he is an absoloute wanker! He ruined the best England side we have had for decades. His sides play with little or no passion and he makes very poor substitutions. I'd rather see anyone else as manager!
