Eriksson for Inter?

There's speculation that Sven Goran Eriksson will be made Inter's manager soon.

Given the mess he made of England what do Inter fans think of that?

you must be worried.

I know he did well in Italy with Lazio before but he'd surely be a disaster at Inter.

Really? I haven't heard about it. I think Eriksson is an awful coach, even if he managed to win the scudetto with Lazio. He's a very uncreative and boring coach. His England was phenomenally uncreative in attack.

I don't think it's very likely he would join Inter.

really? i was under the impression that he will take over u.s. national team...

god forbid that he should take over at inter. i watched lazio religiously while he managed them and yes, he did win the scudetto, and both italian cup and super cup with the biancocelesti but given the fact that he had one of the most talented sides in europe at the time (marchegiani, pancaro, negro, nesta, mihajlović, simeone, almeyda, nedved, sergio conceicao, veron, ***šić, salas), that wasn't really a that unexpected.

i remember that in his last year he had both crespo and salas on the roster but still opted for extremelly dull 4-5-1. lazio's flashy performances disappeared faster than a tube of lubricant at the porn set!

then there's his part in persuading veron to move to man utd (when he at the same time had offers from real and barca!) and thus ruining him for the next three seasons.

in the end, there are his constant failures of achieveing something worth mentioning with the english nt.

i don't think that mancio is the right solution for inter but erikssson definitely won't solve any of inter's problems. if inter needed a playboy instead of a quality manager, they would find a perfect man for that mission in sven. if inter had managed to score as often as sven does with various lady friends or secretaries, they would run over their respective opponents with a five goal cushion (to say the least)...

i say, let some other team or nt regret their decision to hire this swedish playboy!

it was on an english newspaper's website and also bbc's sport website.

just a rumour at this stage and if the directors at Inter have any sense they

wont go near him, he is absoloutely clueless and far too catious.

he turned england into a shambles and would probably do the sam with Inter.

I'm not an Inter fan but am interested in what Inter fans think of Mancini.

Is he the man to lead you to the scudetto?

it would surely take a pretty bad coach to not win it with Inter this season.

thay must have one of the best squads in Europe at the moment.

Well England supporters and especially the English media would have you believe that Eriksson made a 'mess' of the team. But in reality, haven't England under Eriksson performed about as well as they always do in the Euros and World Cups? I think what Eriksson failed to do was to achieve exceptional results. Not quite the same thing as making a 'mess' of it, but once the media gets involved, you know how it goes...And I'm no expert on England's history, but I don't think an England team has ever really been known for its creativity, regardless of the coach. Maybe I'm wrong.

All that being said, I don't want Eriksson for Inter either . I'd rather find someone fresher and I find it hard to believe that Eriksson-Inter would ever really materialize. I just don't think it's realistic, but I might be wrong about that too .

you're right about that.

the english players were over-hyped and turned out to not be as good as the media made them out to be but eriksson made plenty of mistakes too.

i dont think it'll happen either but it was mentioned in several websites.

Inter would be better off sticking with Mancini for the time being.

I think I would stop supporting Inter if this loser became our Coach. I have no regard for him what so ever.
