Cesar to Inter...finally

Cesar FINALLY signed for Inter. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it, even though its been in the works for as long as i can remember. We seem to have enough capable left sided players: dejan, kily, and solari. Though I suppose Cesar can also play as a fullback or as a wing forward. So he brings us versatility in that regard. Plus, he's Mancini's boy, so he'll probably be preferred to Kily or Solari anyways.

Officially, he has arrived on loan. So I think it isn't a bad move in that Inter can evaluate him and make sure he fits in before offering him a permanent contact (as his current Lazio one expires in June).

Why in Inter.it he's registered as a defender?

Anyway, I don't know him but I hope he can play as a wing forward, without Martins we cannot just rely on the speed of Adriano and Cruz

I don't really see what he will bring to us that we don't already have. He is no better than Kily certainly and probably not Solari either. He is not a defender either so all in all the move is a bit of a waste. I am not too pleased.

well Giorgio, if you're right and he flops, then we just don't have to sign him to a permanent contract. Let him go free in the summer if this doesn't work out. All we will have lost are the young players that would likely have never made it with Inter anyways. But with Mancini's favoritism, you can be sure he'll be given every chance to succeed and earn that contract.

evilmact, he definitely can play as a wing forward. Now I'm not sure, but somehow I remember him being used as a wingback or fullback by Mancini at Lazio on occasion. This might explain his being listed as a defender. Still, he obviously should be listed in midfield. But hey! Don't underestimate Adriano's speed...he can be really fast when he's in good condition. Sometimes these big guys just don't look as fast as they are. In his prime, Vieri was extremely fast, just for example.

Yes, you're right, Adriano is a fast player. This

was more for Cruz
