Zamparini Attacks Arrogant Inter

9/12/2005 7:31:00 AM

The Palermo president was unimpressed with the attitude of the Nerazzurri.

After watching his side beat Inter on Saturday, Maurizio Zamparini attacked Roberto Mancini’s players, dubbing them as being arrogant.

“It’s an arrogant team, everyone plays for himself. I know what the primary problem of Inter is: they suffer from the king complex or the arrogant presidents. Each one thinks about himself and is arrogant. Even the coach: Mancini was a great player, but has not yet learnt to be humble. And arrogance never pays."

Zamparini believes that Inter should take a leaf out of Juve’s book if they intend on winning the Scudetto.

“Juventus never falls in arrogance; this is the main difference. Inter is stronger as a squad, but pays for the pride with the results.”

and facchetti's comment

"But I have some advice for him - to raise himself to the civil behaviour and manners of the city and the people he represents. Unfortunately for him these are goods that you can't find on the shelves in a supermarket."
