Inter draw Shakhtar in Champions League

Inter have to defeat the Ukranian team Shakhtar if they want to play in the group stage of the Champions League. Not the easiest draw in my opinion, but I'm confident that Inter will do well. If anything, I pity Shakhtar . For me, the other interesting matchups will be Everton v. Villarreal, Sporting v. Udinese, and Monaco v. Betis.

We will slam Shakhtar. They are out of our league, and they will stay out of the Champions league.

Shakhter is not a bad team... last year they had some decent performance but were ....

Hope we don't get nervous and pass reasonably well to Group stage

Your lack of knowledge about that team doesn't surprise me, but I thought that someone should have told you the truth about that team.

It's the best in Ukraine. They were small but then some Rinat, who is a billionaire, has developed the team rapidly to be the best in Ukraine, leaving Dinamo Kyev the dust.

Rinat invested a lot of money buying mutzalem from Brescia in 14M euros(Pizarro cost us less!) and a Romanian coach who likes beautifull and attacking style of play. This coach coached also Inter and has a good reputation in this bussiness.

They have only 6 Ukrainean players, and 6 Brazilian players. They have more Brazilian than Ukrainean on the field. Half of their Brazilian players played in the U21 Brazilian national team.

They skipped on the Ukrainean league easily and the performed extremely well there. Last year was their 1st in CL.

Belive me- you don't really REALIZE what team we're talking about. They have a VERY LITTLE name, but as you've read(I hope)- they mught be the stringest side we could get.

Don't forget that we'll play beside closed doors and they'll have their 26 thousands(which will be renewed to a bigger one) seats stadium, and- their league already kicked off so they have a real match fitness(or, at least, very close to it).

God I hope all my words are bullshit, but I don't feel very secure, especially as between the 2 legs we have the super-coppa with Juve and Capello already hinted he's preparing his side to face us.

In Ukraine, they also see it as a little Brazil VS Argentina match, because We have many Argentineans.

According to the last statistics, The Argentineans always lose except in that match when Argentina demolished Brazil through Riqulmue.
