Osasuna beat Barca!

Barca were beaten by osasuna 2-1.

Great game by Osasuna. Barca appeared very humble in the match (especially in the 1st half). Raul Garcia practically neutralized almost any threat from Ronaldinho today (with the exception of a tremendous pass to Larson who scored their only goal, appeared to be a shadow of his usual self). Larson was IMO the best player for barca on the pitch.

Barca players were very frustrated and I lost count of the number of yellow cards the ref gave. Barca got 2 red cards in the second half.

Thank you Valdez, youre the greatest keeper...keep up the good work. First you helped Villa twice and now you helped Valdo from Osasuna.

Thank you Edmilson for your tackle (why use both feet??? Thats what tricked the ref!)

Thank you Motta for that uncalled for back tackle.

And thank you Osasuna for giving hope for other teams in the league At least now La Liga is more interesting to watch.

we were awful this eveing, players still looked tired from the chelsea game

however, we deserved everything we got. Edmilson was a silly boy, but that doesn't change the fact that Savo took a blatent dive

as for Motta, he fell into a trap and needlessly got himself sent off for a stupid tackle

Valdes .... hmmmm .... no comment, it speaks for itself

I know it wasnt a penalty, but it was pretty stupid from Edmilson to tackle with both feet, it was difficult for a ref not to give something. And Savo has plenty of experience and he took the chance and dived and it worked.

Barca should get a better keeper...

Although Rikjard is a great coach, one of his faults (and he only has a few) is that he keeps supporting his players even when they make terrible mistakes. It is understandable to support a great player like Eto'o if he doesnt score for a few matches, but supporting a keeper like Valdez is hurting the teams performance. If it werent for the amazing Puyol, God knows how many goals barca would conceive with a keeper like Valdez.

How many mistakes has Valdez made this year? One today, 2 with David Villa (which cost Barca a win and a draw!), one with Deportivo with a silly header from Andrade....Those are the ones I remember from the back of my head.

Other goalkeepers make one blunder per season, he almost makes one every 2 or 3 matches.

I think Barcelona should look to get a new keeper. Dont get me wrong, I like Valdes, however he's inconsistent and he's been messing up a lot lately. That awful mistake against Valencia, the first goal against Chelsey at Stamford bridge was also his fault, and yesterday against Osasuna.

I think that Valdes feels too comfortable as the undesputed starter for Barca. I think that if they go out and bring another keeper, this will give Valdes an incentive to step up his game.

Osasuna played well but they were lucky to win it!!!! Milosevic is in contention for best dive of the year!!! Larsson should have started from the start. Dont get me wrong Osasuna deserved the victory but if Barac had taken there chances we could hav won it

As for Valdes........i think we are critisising him too much, i mean think about it, I can think of only 3 mistakes all season(The 2 against Valencia and last night) other than that he has made crucial saves. I dont think we need a new keeper, we need a new left-back in Antonio Lopez

Barca plays best football on earth today, and this game doesnt mean anything. They will win next 5-6 games and again lost one of them etc..But the thing is Braca will be European and Spanish champion !!

I just love to watch them play, i cant remember when we had some club in Europe playing like Braca.

I agree with Anti-Madridista that they need a left back, Van Bronchhorst is not very comfortable in this position, though he did well against Chelsea. With Motta, Xavi, Deco in midfield they have enough midfielders who can do defensive duties when needed. Oleguer was very impressive against Chelsea IMO. With Ronnie, Messi & Eto'o upfront, they hardly have to worry for goals.

And yeah, they are playing amazing football.
