Midfield Crisis For Barca?

Barcelona face a shortage of midfield players ahead of this Sunday’s clash with Sevilla at the Nou Camp.

Deco will not be involved after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Villarreal at the weekend, while Marc van Bommel will not play again this year after being injured in training for Holland.

Xavi was ruled out for six months on Friday with a serious knee injury and Thiago Motta is doubtful for the Sevilla match with a muscular problem.

Rafael Marquez was sent-off against Villarreal and may be suspended, although Barca are appealing.

The likes of Andres Iniesta and Gabri are now set to feature.
