2002/2003 Champion's League Campaign

BLAUGRANA2010-05-09 01:23:07 +0000 #1
I've started this thread so we can have a specific thread designated ONLY to Barca's Champion's League campaign. We can use this thread to discuss Barca matches and results, player performances in the CL and other Barca related CL topics.

Barca have recieved a favourable draw in terms of seedings for the Champion's League. We have been drawn in the first pot which also includes Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Valencia, Juventus, Arsenal and Inter. This means should we advance through the qualifying stage to the first round, we wouldn't face any of these clubs in the first round! Great news IMO as these are all top clubs and getting through to the next round will be crucial and profitable.

Nice to hear!! Then we also get all the topmatches later in the round, which means all the knock-out matches gets more exiting!

900!!! You poacher!!!

I agree with you. I think we'll qualify just like last season. IMO, we went far last season. All the way to the Semis!!!

Here's to another successful CL and all the way to the final!!!

then ye lot shot blanks against your bitter rivals real madrid. what was so successful about that ?

What was successful about it was that even though we faced stiffer competition throughout the tournament and had more injuries (not to mention injuries to key players), we went a whole hell of a lot further than your sorry Juve did. What's more, we had to go through the qualifying rounds too. We'll do the same this season. How were the crowd turnouts at the Delle FOGGY stadium??? There weren't any because Juve are so boring no one wants to watch them play.
