Maradona Attacks Bielsa
08/19/2003. Diego Maradona has launched an attack on Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa, saying he should have been sacked after last year's World Cup.
"If (AFA's president Julio) Grondona sacked Alfio Basile after USA 94 and did the same with Passarella in 1998, he should have done the same with Bielsa, mostly after the flop in Japan," he told Radio Mitre.
He also spoke of Juan Roman Riquelme's situation at Barcelona.
"Barcelona are the worst club in the world," he added. "Román made a mistake signing for them, but now he has to take a personal revenge by choosing a big team in Italy."
