a human resource management project for uni is about real madrid. the question is:
Do you think Real Madrid was able to manage a group of starts? Why? Would you change anything?
the professor emphasized the Galacticos era, and i think that a good way to frame the answer would be by drawing 2 parallels:
- one with the real madrid of the 50/60's, with Santamaria, Kopa, Gento, Puskas and Di Stefano. Santiago Bernabeu built an absolutely world-class team of international stars with great results. what happened then that didn't happen now?
this first part is where i need your help. i can't find anything on the managers' methods back then ((villalonga, carniglia and muñoz). it's possible to go around this issue and mention camacho, queiros and luxemburgo's shortcomings or how now the competition caught up with real madrid, but i think being able to compare the different managers' methods would be a great approach.
- one with a "real-life business" (modern football clubs are run like businesses but you know what i mean)
thank you in advance for any help!
