Upset Robinho demands talks with Real Madrid's Capello

January 09, 2007

Robinho wants showdown talks with Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello today.

The Brazilian was left in the stands for Sunday's defeat at Deportivo La Coruna and AS says he has learned the decision was made by Capello as a disciplinary measure.

A member of Real's coaching staff informed Robinho yesterday that he was dropped because Capello believed he had returned from the winter break out of condition and hadn't given his all in at least two training sessions last week.

The news stunned Robinho, who will seek an explanation from Capello today over his axing.

Real Madrid pair Reyes, Robinho face crunch talks

January 29, 2007

Real Madrid management will hold crunch talks with Robinho and Jose Reyes this week.

Coach Fabio Capello and his staff are fed-up with the poor attitude being shown by both players in training and believe their flat performances are the result.

Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic has already spoken with Reyes last week about his below-par form, informing the Spaniard they cannot understand the lack of desperation he's showing given that he is only on-loan from Arsenal and still needs to prove himself worthy of a permanent contract. Reyes was again disappointing at Villarreal, so forcing Capello to again organise showdown talks with the ex-Sevilla man.

Mijatovic plans talks with Robinho on Thursday or Friday.

"He can be the world's best in two years' time," Mijatovic said of the Brazilian yesterday, however the concerns over his lack of progress this season is a major concern and the Real chief will demand a change in attitude from the player in their meeting this week.

the problem is not just them, its the entire team, so should mijatovic hold crunch talks with all of them?

what is RVN doing lately? i think ronaldo's departure had a psychological affect on RVN, as now he knows he will be a *er no matter what, he doesnt seem 2 be as excited & willing as he was b4 when he had a tough competition.....we need oliviera 2 make him work harder........

& btw regarding ur question whether I am a ronaldo fan or a real madrid fan..

let me tell u that i am a hardcore real madrid fan, but that doesnt mean i start hating any player that leaves the club because of some dispute...

ronaldo remains a great player & only if capello gave him more time.....see how our team is now suffering infront of goal.......

Robinho admits Real Madrid struggles

February 04, 2007

Robinho accepts he's struggled this season at Real Madrid.

The Brazilian dazzler has held a series of showdown talks with Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic over his form and approach to training in recent weeks.

Robinho said: "I must improve a lot and I have much more I must give. I have a lot of football inside me that I want to show.

"We all have an obligation to give our all in training and bring joy to the supporters.

"We've been having a bad time recently. And have had bad luck losing some important players. We are all working together so the good times return."
