Daniel Alves prefers Real Madrid over Barcelona

April 04, 2008

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster sees Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves as a priority signing for the summer market.

Reports yesterday suggested Alves had agreed personal terms with Barcelona, however if Schuster has his way, the Brazilian will be at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

AS says the German coach has already told close friends: "He is a super player. A defender, a midfielder and an attacker. He is everywhere."

Meanwhile, Alves has told his agent he'd prefer a move to Madrid over Barcelona.

maybe they planning to turn him into a solid leftback

well i don think he would be playing at the back, we got ramos,

sometimes he plays a bit infront as a right wing or something

well i heard we were looking at Quaresma for the RWM position, i think we should buy him and train him as a left back, as i really dont like the otpions there right now, maybe in 2 or 3 years i might feel secure with marcelo but not just yet,

yea marcelo needs time to to be good in defence, although i still say that roberto carlos wasnt much better in defence, but we can depend on marcelo at the moment and let alves think abt his life away from us.

but if he comes and accepts to be benched, i got no problem

quaresma would be great if he does the job higuain was doing last season, that right forward position.

but in any case, we should not think about 1 player per position, i really wish realmadrid would learn from their mistake, we get eliminated because we dont have enough people.

the true problem at real is that noone wants to sit on the bench and wait thier chance, everyone bitches, and that way we can never have a strong bench

because Madrid is one of the bext clubs in the world alot of this players get a swell head thinking they have made it and deserves to play

somehow you are right, but i think there is another problem, the players think they are being blamed by the coach, and the coach doesnt like them, and straight away they start thinking about leaving
