Real Madrid chief Mijatovic: We like Ribery

tribalfooball.com - January 24, 2007

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic admits Olympique Marseille wing ace Franck Ribery is a transfer target.

The France international is expected to quit Marseille in the summer and has some of Europe's biggest clubs courting him, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Real are considering Ribery as a direct replacement for David Beckham, who is on his way to LA Galaxy in the summer.

well that makes no sense...... if your player is so good and loyal to the small club then why doesnt he stay there.....

it is the dream of every player to make it to a top club with alot of other professionals, and to play and learn from them. it isnt always about money, its about how far you can go and to know the lengths of your talent.

take pele if he played in europe who knows if he would have been as much as a legend as today????? and that is why i would pick maradonna anyday
