Joaquin Ready To Leave Betis

Betis winger Joaquin has suggested that he may leave the club in search of a new challenge this summer.

The Spanish international has attracted much attention from other clubs over the last two or three years, but a move has never materialised.

"I am open to everything," he said.

"It is possible my time at Betis has come to an end and the club need to sell me to strengthen the team.

"If I got an opportunity to see what it is like to play this sport abroad, I would be prepared to take that step and try my luck in another country."

Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Joaquin in the past and may renew their interest again this summer.

If the management don't take him this time, I'll be really pissed. One of the world's best right midfielder wingers and Spains best right wing.

The only problem might be Beckham who is in that spot, but I would take Joaquin over Beckham in right wing any day.

He is an awesome winger. However, you havent done ur homework properly ;-)

1. he is a right winger.

2. he wants to go abroad.

I dont see us signing him. I would very much like to, as i see him as top 5 wingers of todays soccer.

Joaquin, come to Madrid!!

Why is this even posted under Real Madrid?????

The guy cleared said he wants to go abroad. Plus he would not be stupid enough to go to Real where he would play second fiddle to Beckham. Joaquin wants to be a regular in the Spanish national team and going to a team where he would not play regularly would only hinder his chances. If it were up to him he would choose a team that lacks a right winger.

Anyway its not his choice, it would be upto the management since he is still under contract. They would sell him to the best buyer (which most probably would be Chelsea, if Mourinho still wants him).

Joaquin prefers Real Madrid over Chelsea

tribalfootball.com - April 9, 2006

Real Betis winger Joaquin wants a move to Real Madrid in the summer.

Joaquin declared last week that his "time at Betis was already over" and he was ready to leave the Seville club at the end of this season.

Chelsea are regarded as favourites for the Spain international, however DiarioSport says he'd jump at a move to Real Madrid.

I wouldnt trust Tribalfootball.com most of what they post isnt based on anything.

Scared of Real Madrid? I dont think a team that can win Real Madrid at home are scared of them.

And how come Real Madrid are better than Valencia? According to the league table we are above Real with 5 games left. Am I wrong in thinking that 2nd is better than 3rd place?

What do you base Real being "better" on ? Ancient history? Or the salary of the players? Or the number of magazine covers Real Madrid players are in ?
