hmm, good point..

but consider these facts.. Beckham only started playing in his preffered position when Lopez Caro arrived..

Quieroz had him as central-defensive midfielder and Figo on the right, Camacho and Ramon were clueless period, and Luxembourgo had his "magic quadrant" which consisted of zero wings and a team falling apart..

Still, despite this, Beckham has been one of the most consistant players at Madrid. With everyone from Ronaldo, Raul, Zidane etc. going through ups and downs, Beckham has always been a guarantee of a dangerous cross or a centimeter precise freekick.

I wish he'd shoot more though.. But consider that at Man U, he had Keane, Scholes and Giggs with him in the midfield, and that midfield was just massive. Real has had midfield problems since Makaléle left, and props to Gravesen, he's no Makaléle. So often, Beckham was forced all teh way into Salgado's position defending, becasue the other midfield players were too busy thinking about how to score a goal instead of getting down and dirty in the defence. I even remembered a game when Beckham played Salgado's spot, after Salgado got injured in mid-game. I think it was under Quieroz who then brought in another striker and moved Beckham back...

so consider these conditions.. then ask yoruself teh same question..

Real Madrid has dissapointed... Not Beckham.. he's been the best player in many many games..

I would say Yes; he's the wrong player on the wrong team; it was a bad career move leaving the EPL. He's good at what he can do, but limited, not a Real Madrid player. Hes' just "average", good enogh but nothing all that special, not tp be Beck-bashing or anything.

But TommyG is definitely worth keeping, I never saw why so many rate Mekelel, not that impressive, a bigger loss was, for some reason, letting Cambiasso go, good for Inter bad for Real.

Real should split with Becks, bring in Juninho from Lyon, if he would want that move? Plus D'Alessandro from his dead-end team in Germany would be a good choice.

if u say so.... but if u come with this thread, disappointment, u start this thing all over again, if u don`t like Becks, that`s your problem, but don`t start screaming your hate against him.... because are other people who might feel bad about this... once u started a post, in my opinion, we should be happy posting there, not angry because we realize, or..., at least we start to realize that we aren`t satisfied with a player( a great one!)
