Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos reveals Qatar offer

tribalfootball.com - November 7, 2005

Real Madrid superstar Roberto Carlos has confirmed he's received an offer to play in Qatar.

"They want to build an important competition, with good players. And they have the money to achieve it," said Roberto Carlos.

"I have four years left in football and I'll try to get the most out of it.

"I have a contract with Real Madrid until year 2007, but I always look for the best solution."

He added: "I couldn't leave now. If I have offers, it means I am doing well.

"If they were to offer me $10 million then I would have to think about it. I have been to Inter Milan and Real Madrid and who knows if I could play in Qatar?"

nah if they replace him with raul bravo playing full time i would personally shoot Lux, they would get someone, but to me, at the end of this season i always felt that we would be losing Zindane and Roberto

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Are you guys smoking crack?

Qatar just bought retired superstars who can barely run for 10 minutes.

Roberto Carlos has alot left in him why would he join Qatar and play some crap Championship in the end of his career.

He won the world cup, champions league etc... why wouldn't he end his career in Madrid and become a legend instead of wasting the ends of his days in a league that gather retired players and advertises for their people.

Seriously guys, you actually buy this stuff from the media.

wow...
