Croatia 98 or 2006

the Croatian team that went to france is if not the best team to come out of the Balkans. having possessed such rare talents as suker and boban they were perhaps unlucky to go out in the semis to france and they were even winning at half time. if ***sic have played maybe the story would be different.

this brings me up to the question. Do you guys and girls think that the croatian national team goin to the world cup in germany can be put in the same category as the one that went to france in 98 and can the same be expected from them?

if you ask me defenetly not the croat team of 98 is on that comes in ages.

no, the '98 team was significantly better and strong right across the park - Soldo, Stimac, Bilic and Jarni in defence, Prosinecki, Asanovic , Stanic and Boban in midfield, and Suker at his best up front

Croatia '98 was the best team to have come out from the Balkans. And it'll tak some time for Croatia to reach that std again.

definatly not the standaard of 1998

however in saying is the best team since then

far beter than euro 2000 qual

far better then WC2002

and far better than euro 2004

we have improved and gotten rid of most of the old and loose ends in the team

that were still present at euro 2004

eg mornar..rosso...and the oldies of 98

i think we are at the stage of euro 96 croatia in terms of talent and potential
