I was wondering if anyone has stats on the most likely to succeed submissions and which positions have the most subsmissions? For example, what is more likely to succeed? An Armbar attempt from the mount versus from the guard. Are keylocks more successful than toe holds Has anyone keep stats on this?

It really depends on who you are, I guess. BJJ practitioners like Nogueira pull out their best submissions from the bottom with their opponent in the closed guard. Other submission experts, guys like Sakuraba, prefer to be in the side mount, and others I'm sure prefer to be in a full mount position.
Depending on what kind of fighter you are, and what style you use, I'm thinking your most successful position will be either the side mount, full mount, or closed guard.

i agree with roby(for once
)that it depend's who's fighting. nog is a master at setting up subs from his guard. not al bjj guys can do it as well as him. carlos newton likes to set up his arm bars from the top (knee on the chest ) position. wrestlers like coleman like to set up key locks and generally seem to prefer the side mount position. every one has their own style.
i'd be damned if someone is keeping those stats. any crazy mf here doing that?
